Checking Safety Valves

This reconfiguration of an incorrectly installed safety pressure relief discharge pipe showing water being let-by from a faulty safety valve was carried out as the customer had water pouring out from an external pipe.

This fault had existed for so long that it had caused the safety valve to fail which then had to be replaced.

If you have a pressurised system installed in your home (a cylinder in the airing cupboard but no water tank in the attic) that is discharging water from an external pipe contact us as an important safety component maybe faulty.
